WonderLive — Our Vision
A social network can be profitable without being extractive.
1. The Problem Today
On traditional social networks (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch…), the model is almost always the same:
- - Your time and attention are exploited to the maximum: you scroll, watch ads, and feed the algorithms.
- - The algorithms are opaque: you don't really know why you see certain content, or why another disappears.
- - Clash and drama are often rewarded: the more polarizing, the more it spreads.
- - Creators capture little of the value they create.
- - The community barely counts: it's mainly there to generate "available brain time".
Result:
An ecosystem where you give a lot (content, attention, data) and where you receive little, except entertainment and sometimes anxiety.
2. What We Want to Change with WonderLive
WonderLive starts from a simple belief:
"A social network can be profitable without being extractive."
"It can redistribute more value to creators, the community, and useful projects, while remaining simple to use, fun, and accessible."
Concretely, this means:
- - Helping creators make a better living from their work, with clear rules (0% for founders, 85% for others on tips).
- - Giving a real role to the community, beyond the disposable "like".
- - Reinvesting part of the margin in projects that matter (WonderCare Fund).
- - Bringing algorithms out of the shadows, with visible principles (WQS).
3. Our Three Pillars
3.1. Better for Creators
- - Fairer tips: 0% commission for Founding Creators (under conditions), 85% for all other creators on their tips.
- - Monetization from 1 fan: no need to reach absurd thresholds to start earning.
- - Understandable rules: what matters is quality, consistency, rule compliance, and genuine engagement.
3.2. Better for the Community
- - Your engagement truly matters: your activity (watching, commenting, sharing, supporting) translates into XP, badges, levels.
- - These levels can unlock exclusive access (lounges, beta, events, exchanges with the team…).
- - You can choose what you value: by supporting certain creators, by participating in certain choices.
3.3. Transparency & Impact
- - WQS (Wonder Quality Score): a reputation score that takes into account content quality, behavior, and authentic engagement.
- - The goal: fewer toxic contents highlighted, more creators who bring something.
- - WonderCare Fund: about 2–5% of the margin directed to social and educational projects, with a public dashboard planned.
4. Redistributing More Value
We don't promise "easy income for everyone".
We're not selling a "get-rich-quick scheme".
What we're doing right now:
For creators
- - 0% commission on tips for the first 300 founders (under conditions)
- - 85% of all tips for standard creators
For the community
- - XP, badges, visible progression
- - Early access to certain features
- - Role in product feedback
- - Indirect contribution to the WonderCare Fund
What we want to strengthen tomorrow:
- - A clear VRR / DAO / tokens framework (and regulation-compliant) to refine how value is distributed.
- - More weight for the community in: choosing certain WonderCare projects, certain product priorities, certain rules of the game.
All of this will be detailed in specific documents (VRR, governance, tokenomics), after legal validation. On the public website, we prefer to say less, but say true.
5. What WonderLive Is Not
To avoid misunderstandings:
WonderLive is not:
- - a promise of "passive income" for viewers
- - a disguised investment product
- - a network without rules or safeguards
WonderLive is closer to:
- - a social network where creators are treated as partners, not as replaceable stock
- - a community where members are recognized for what they bring
- - a circular economic model, where part of the margin funds useful projects
6. Where We're Going
We're still under construction.
Our medium-term ambition:
- - help thousands of creators make a better living (or significantly supplement their income) thanks to WonderLive
- - allow millions of members to feel that their time online truly matters (progression + impact)
- - fund, via WonderCare, measurable projects in education, digital inclusion, and mental health
