Content Policy
WonderLive Community Guidelines
Version 2.1 — January 2026
Aligned with the DSA (EU), Swiss Code of Obligations (CH), GDPR and applicable local laws
Preamble
This Content Policy defines what is allowed and what is prohibited on the WonderLive platform.
It applies to all content: videos, lives, posts, images, comments, direct messages, stories, and any other content format.
Objective
- Protect the WonderLive community (minors, dignity, safety)
- Comply with applicable laws (Swiss law, EU, local)
- Maintain an inclusive and welcoming platform
- Leave space for creative expression and debate
In case of violation, possible actions: warning, correction, suspension, termination (see section 10).
Fundamental Principles
Tolerance & Transparency
WonderLive believes in:
- Creative freedom of expression: You can express your opinion, test formats, explore topics
- Inclusive community: Respect for diversity, non-discrimination
- Shared responsibility: You create, we moderate, we protect together
- Moderation transparency: We tell you why we remove something (with details)
What is Allowed
In general:
- Express political, religious, philosophical opinions
- Criticize WonderLive, governments, institutions (honestly)
- Debate controversial topics (politics, economy, society)
- Educational, documentary, sensitive historical content
- Humor, satire, parody, critical commentary
- Sponsored content/partnerships (with clear disclosure)
- LGBTQ+, feminist, anti-discrimination content
- Health/wellness/intimacy topics (responsibly)
- Mature content for adults (with age warning)
Key principle: As long as it's legal and responsible, it's OK.
Violence & Incitement to Violence
These rules apply in addition to the laws of the country where you are located (Swiss law, European law and local laws).
Strictly Prohibited
Direct/indirect calls to hit, kill, injure identified persons or groups
Promotion, recruitment, financing of terrorist organizations
Glorifying terrorist attacks, terrorists, extremist ideologies
Content encouraging self-harm, suicide (even if presumed "help")
Instructions for making dangerous weapons (bomb, poison, etc.)
Persistent threats against an individual/group
Allowed if Context
- Documentary/educational violent content (e.g., denouncing war violence)
- Fiction/video game violent content (with warning)
- Self-harm support discussion (e.g., creator shares healing journey)
Documentary exception: Historical video/violence denunciation = OK if clear context + warning + no glorification.
Hate, Discrimination & Harassment
Strictly Prohibited
Attacks based on race, ethnicity, skin color, nationality
Hate/discrimination based on sex, gender, gender identity
Hate/discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity
Hate/stereotypes based on Jewish religion/culture
Hate/attacks based on religion (all religions)
Discrimination/hate based on physical or mental disability
Coordinated campaign of attacks/harassment against a person/group
Sharing personal information (address, phone, ID) to harass
Encouraging your followers to attack someone
Threats of rape, sexual abuse, sextortion
Allowed if Context
- Factual criticism of political/public figures (as long as no threats)
- Satire/parody (if clear context, no confusion)
- Academic discussion of racism/discrimination (if educational, not promotion)
- Legitimate debate on sensitive topics (if good faith, not personal attack)
Tolerated example: "This politician's policies create discrimination"
Prohibited example: "[Ethnic group] are criminals"
Sexual Content & Exploitation
Strictly Prohibited
Sexual content involving minors (NEVER)
- Including AI-generated images of minors
- Including grooming/sexual solicitation of minors
- Including "sextortion" of minors
- Automatic reporting to authorities (IWF/NCMEC)
Sexual content exploiting/without consent of third parties
Content presenting/normalizing
Sexual content with animals
Content encouraging family sexual relations
Allowed if Context & Warnings
- Consenting adult sexual content (with 18+ age warning)
- Artistic/educational nudity (e.g., art class, health doc)
- LGBTQ+ content (same standard as hetero)
- Intimacy/reproductive health topics (with disclaimers)
- Therapy/support for sexual trauma survivors
Standard: Consenting adult nudity = OK if age warning + not purely gratuitous/pornographic.
Weapons, Drugs & Dangerous Activities
Strictly Prohibited
Sale, trafficking, instructions for making illegal weapons
Exception: Sport (shooting, hunting) with legal licenses = context OK
Instructions for making bombs, explosive devices, mines
Promotion, sale, distribution of illegal drugs (heroin, cocaine, meth, etc.)
Exception: Educational/harm reduction discussion with clear context
NPS (New Psychoactive Substances) unregulated
Dangerous instructions (e.g., medication abuse, intentional overdose)
Challenges leading to suicide/self-harm
Allowed if Context
- Cannabis (legal regions): Legal discussion acceptable
- Mental health: Addiction support, harm reduction info
- Drug documentary: Education, cartel denunciation
- Responsible extreme sport (base jump, free dive with safety)
Child Exploitation & Abuse
Strictly Prohibited
Content normalizing/exploiting minors
Video/documentation of child abuse
Content showing child neglect
Content normalizing minor marriage
Forcing children to beg
Dangerous "pranks", content putting children at risk for views
Automatic Reporting
All CSAM content or immediate danger to minors is automatically reported to the National Center for Missing/Exploited Children (NCMEC) USA, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) EU, or local authorities.
Fraud & Scams
Strictly Prohibited
Pyramids, Ponzi, "get rich quick"
Pretending to be someone else to sell product
"Cure cancer", "cure autism" (without basis)
Selling fake diplomas, licenses
Threatening to publish intimate photos for money
Romance scam in crypto
Links/instructions stealing passwords
Selling/promoting fake brand products
Rug pulls, pump & dumps
Allowed if Clear & Legal
- Legitimate product affiliation (with disclaimer)
- Authentic sponsorships
- Crypto education (with risk warning)
- Investment discussion (with "not financial advice")
False Information & Disinformation
Strictly Prohibited
Clearly false information suppressing dates, locations, voting procedures
False health info that could cause direct harm
False info about terrorism, earthquakes, crises (panic)
Conspiracy theories causing real harm (inciting hate/violence)
Allowed if Clear Context
- Clearly marked parody/satire
- Debate on complex topics (as long as not dangerous false info)
- Criticism of fact-checking institutions
- Documentary questions/thoughtful skepticism
- Alternative theories explored responsibly
WonderLive Standard: we do not intervene on opinions or debates as such. We act when clearly false information creates a risk of direct and serious harm (public health, safety, elections).
Legal Threats & General Legality
Strictly Prohibited
Anything violating Swiss, EU, or country of residence law
False factual accusations damaging reputation
Threatening to publish info unless paid
Sharing personal data without consent
Fake brands, government documents
Prohibited example: "Minister X stole millions" (not proven) = defamation
Allowed example: "I believe politician Y is corrupt" (opinion) = OK
Copyright & Intellectual Property
Strictly Prohibited
Using protected music without license
Exception: Small portion fair use (e.g., 10 sec critique clip)
Sharing protected videos in full
Exception: Short clips for commentary/critique/education
Photos/art without permission
Copy-pasting complete articles/books
Using to create confusion (counterfeit)
Allowed if
Fair use / Fair dealing
- Commentary/critique (film, music, book)
- Original parody
- Education/non-profit
- News reporting
- Small excerpt with attribution
Original remix content
If substantial transformation + attribution
Free license

Enforcement & Consequences

Standard Process:
Email + app notification
Creator can correct/delete
WonderLive re-checks
Result: Okay → Close / Not OK → Sanction
Severe Violations (Immediate Revocation)
Without prior compliance delay:
- CSAM / Minor exploitation → reporting to authorities + immediate account suspension
- Terrorism / Apology of terrorism → immediate account suspension
- Documented massive fraud → immediate account suspension
- Serious sexual harassment → immediate account suspension
- Coordinated doxing → immediate account suspension
Types of Sanctions
Appeals
- You receive suspension/ban notification + reason
- You write to appeals@wonderlive.com within 30 days
- You explain why you think it's wrong
- WonderLive re-evaluates
- Response within 15 business days
WonderLive can reverse if error (AI false positive, context misunderstanding), wrongly punished proportions, or creator shows good faith remorse.
AI-Assisted Moderation & Human Review
How WonderLive Moderates
- Automatic flagging: alert systems (AI) can detect potentially problematic content (CSAM images, very violent videos, hate texts).
- Human review: moderators verify these signals to minimize false positives and put content in context.
- Creator contact when possible: when a case is ambiguous, we try to contact the creator before making a final decision (except for obvious safety or legal emergencies).
- Appeal: you can contest if you believe a removal or sanction is unfair.
AI Transparency
AI tools used:
- Detect CSAM (known NCMEC hashes)
- Detect weapons/violence (computer vision)
- Detect spam/scam (NLP, patterns)
- Detect hate speech (text classification)
AI limits:
- False positives (e.g., terrorism documentary flagged)
- Missing context (satire seen as serious)
- Cultural biases (humor culture X ≠ Y)
Therefore always human review before final action.
Exceptions & Gray Areas
Documentary Content
General exception: Documentary, news, education often exception to "show violence", "show hate speech" if:
- Clear context: Viewers know why content is shown (not ambiguous)
- Educational value: Documents real issue, provides insight
- No glorification: Doesn't praise violence/hate (condemns)
- Warning: Sensitive content warning
- Balance: Shows perspectives, solutions, impact
Debate & Disagreement
Key difference: Disagreement ≠ Hate Speech
- "I disagree with this policy"
- "This person's actions are harmful"
- "I think this idea is wrong"
- Passionate debate
- "All [group] are evil"
- "[Person] should die"
- Coordinated attack on person

- Appeal if Wrong: We can make mistakes; contest them
Community Responsibility
- Report appropriately: Don't report just because of disagreement
- Engage constructively: Debate OK, pile-on not OK
- Respect diverse views: WonderLive is for all opinions (within law)
- Assume good faith: Context can be misunderstood
